Established in 2008

Owner, Dominique Cook, opened JumpStart Child Development Center in 2008 to provide quality early childhood education for the families of the Eastern New Orleans and Gentilly communities. Mrs. Cook is a certified teacher with over 20 years experience as an educator. Her goal is to ensure an optimal early childhood environment where preschoolers are loved, nurtured and have fun learning.

JumpStart Child Development Center is a Class A / Type III Licensed Early Childhood Program.

Breakfast, Lunch and a Nutritious Snack are served daily.

All Lead Teachers have a Child Development Associates Credential.
